Conflicting Thoughts

Day to day I have conflicting thoughts in my head.

Day to day I wonder if there's one who thinks as I.

My mind, like a river streamlined.

Like flies and mosquitos fly over a stream, so do the thoughts in my mind.

And sometimes as it flies over, it gets caught.

And there, ideas realized.

It has a life of its own this fast flowing river of mine.

Seems to never stop, regardelss of the hinderances that may come by.

Tame it you cannot, for I have tried.

Poetry serves as a release, with pen and paper as a guide.

It may flow with peace, depending upon the tide.

Seems unique...

If yours is alike,

May you know it takes courage to have conflicting thoughts inside.
