You say your love for me is unconditional

that no action or choice I made could be rendered unforgivable

but our conversation the other day left me deeply shook

cause so many of your beliefs have been molded from a book and

Leviticus has you believing homosexuals are an abomination

yet you say, if I were gay

you'd love me despite my orientation.

Corinthians convinced you that homosexuals

will not inherit the kingdom of god

but to be love entirely

and damned eternally

seems so thoroughly flawed

so this got me thinking

would you secretly pray for my holy salvation

to wash the sins of my sexual proclamation

if i embraced my girl and caressed her kiss

would you heart melt or your stomach cringe

and when i asked my lady to be my wife

would you cry tears of joy or start praying to Christ

and would our love seem pure

one you met our son

or would you panic every time he danced for fun

so petrified he'd end up like his moms

cause to me.. this sounds like conditional love

it's just a condition you had to be reminded of
