Comprehension

 

Acts 10:34-35 

34 Then Peter started speaking: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people, 35 but in every nation the person who fears Him and does what is right is welcomed before Him.

 

To be accepted by the King of Glory

separates you from others … who don’t like God’s Will.

Does that make God partial to them who are His Own?

Why do you think it different ... why an overkill?

 

Colossians 1:9-12 

9 For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may live worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects—bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

 

Comprehension does not arise naturally … it is enlightened by the Spirit.

Revelation is received from God … Who assists our understanding.

He gives us a spiritual conscience and lays out our spiritual tasks

and only when we stray … He will start with reprimanding.

 

When God’s Glory is at stake … if that could be possible

Basically, I mean … that His Glory dims in us.

Then He will correct … or render us uneasy

for conscience and intuition … protest together in us.

 

The Holy Spirit illuminates a conscience to conviction.

He does so with the gospel and He does so when redeemed.

He brings the Will of God … into the center of our focus

and takes away excuses … so to please Christ in-deed.
