Come Unto Him

You see we all have those days, where the sun don't shine,
And we wonder if everything will turn out to be fine.
We feel as if we are all alone
And that to everyone else our pain is unknown.
•In this, when in our darkest hour,
We look for a source that will give us that power.
To rise above these negative feelings,
And give us the strength and to give us some healing.

More often than not our vision is tunneled,
And we forget to whom our pains can be funneled.
We look for things that will dull the hurt,
When there is One with us down in the dirt.

He knows and loves us with all His heart,
Even though we never come through on our part.
He is His Son, the one who paid the price,
We all know His name, it is Jesus Christ.

He is the One my older Brother,
My trials pains He helps me smother.
He is His Son the one who paid the price,
We know His name it is Jesus Christ.

As we go through life we seem to be sure,
That the help He renders is needed no more.
But no matter how many times we push Him away,
He will always be there and to us He will say,

"Come unto me like chicks to their hen,
Come unto me for I am a fisher of men."
Remember, remember who you are trying to please,
Just follow his counsel and get down on your knees.

If it is with Christ you would like to abide,
Just humble yourselves and lose your pride,
No matter how bad the deed or how bad the sin,
It is never too late to let Him in.

So always know that there is someone there,
To help you through the trials you bare.
Because He loves you, He paid the price,
Come unto Him, Come unto Christ.
