Come--Go

They come and go.
Always hurrying.
Never stopping to see.
What we see we ignore.
It is not important.
How wrong they are.
Everything we see has a purpose.
Nature helps them.
They ignore—not understanding.
They come and go.
Never realizing.
Never knowing.
What they do effects the world.
What they say effects each other.
The world screams out.
They don’t listen.
They don’t care.
They need help.
They come and go.
Those who listen are shamed.
Those who know are ignored.
Those who care are stopped.
They never learn.
They never want to know.
What can happen?
What will happen?
What must happen?
They come and go.
The earth speaks.
Listen to the trees.
Everything has a voice.
Don’t shut it out.
Listen to what is being told.
Learn from the animals.
Walk among the unspoken.
Listen to the heart.
Humans come and go.
Their time here is confusing.
They must learn before they help.
Humans are lost.
They are confused.
They are foolish.
Humans need help.
The world knows.
The world teaches.
