Come Back

I want you back here

I want you in my home

I need to steer clear

And never be alone

But you're gone for good

I'm always here to stay

But it's never been the same since you went and gone away

Thinking of the past

And all of our laughter

But you didn't want to have another disaster

So I still wait

For another day

I know it won't ever come

But I'm left astray

Moving on is a path I couldn't ever take

Anyone else just wouldn't be the same

‘Cause without you

I'm just a hopeless man

And this life without you is a life that is damned

You always were the face of my courage

But since you disappeared,

It becomes unheard of

I'm treading myself down the wrong path

And since I lost you,

It's never coming back
