Red is for the sun burning bright

Up there rising high in the sky

Orange is for oranges and the fruit that we get

Thanks to the farmers and people that pick it

Yellow is for the bees in the flowers

That appear after spring showers

Green is for the grass and trees

And all the wonderful leaves

Blue is for the beach and ocean waves

The birds on a branch and the feathers they display

Purple is for the sunset
