Colors of Blue

The shades of red and colors of blue,

Make me love you.

The roses in the paintings

make me forget the world and all of its waitings,

Becasue I finally found you.

The woman on the street

Looks at me with defeat,

The man in the subway looks for the next day,

as i look at you.

The sun was bright

and so was the moon.

But the bright

turns to night,

and the moon turns to gloom,

as I watch for you.

Today turns into yesturday,

and now you seem so far away.

 Now Red and blue,

remind me of you.

And the paintings have turned to gray

As now im the man on the subway.

I now have a look of defeat

as the woman passes me on the street.

Will I see you again?

Will my heart ever mend?
