Colored Blue

When I'm down
The world feels heavy
And it sits in my mind
A frown is all you will find
I wish to do nothing
So my friend is simply distraction
Nothing bothers me now
For I'm just hallowed out
Framed with a permanent pout
It stays too long to tell
When exactly I fell
Not the kind of down that's sad
For there are no tears to be had
I just sit there
With the most vacant stare
Its as if I sleep with eyes open
But that would make all a dream
So then what would seam
Together these chaotic thoughts
Surly something as simple as a smile
Or being out in the sun a while
However I think instead
I'll curl up with a book in bed
I am much better at hiding
Than I ever am finding
So then color me blue
It can be of any hue
