Color Theory

Colors dancing in orange and red.
This is the time to never forget.
Before the ground is covered in a white cascade.
Sickening sweet, of ice cycles and rain.
I try to capture the moments, my thoughts,
Onto paper, of something I'm not.
My imagination brightens as the trees sway.
As I start to sketch the time, this day.

I color in orange, I shade in red.
Of this time I shall never forget.
The ground is not yet covered by snow nor rain.
Just myself and this image of this day.
Now that I've captured this moment, my thoughts.
Onto paper, of something I lost.
I drop my pencil, there is nothing left to do.
That is when I noticed, I drew a memory of you.
