Cocooned

theres a beautiful silence here
as eyes droop and ears muffle
something courses through
your body, unexpected
but gorgeous, warmed from the inside out
closing old wounds
knitting together broken hearts
as your breath slows
and your skin tightens
something golden moves to
surround you, safe, relaxed
glued to the inside of a
dandelion wish
you stop, knowing
this vacation won't be for long
and if it were forever
you wouldn't mind
cocooned in a pile
of positive energy
there's an erie silence here
as eyes droop and ears muffle
you relinquish control
