Life is long,
but it’s short and sweet.
I’ve had burdens,
Now I’m on my feet.

The further the distance,
The greater the leap.
I don’t gamble, But I take a chance,
On love.

If you feel,
The ride is way too long,
Just coast.

I’ve traveled way too far,
Too turn around.
Just coast.

I lead,
A lead foot life.
Slow and steady,
I’m lookin’ both ways.

Try to gather,
And collect my thoughts.
Teach me things, I can be taught.
It’s time, to live and learn.

Forgive and forget,
Put aside regret.
I’m moving on to new,
And better things.
(Leave it all behind)
