Clouds Are Curtains

They unconsciously shine flashy signs

Yet, they still fear the fame

Stars will only come out at night

In hopes to cover their shame

They don't want anyone to notice

They are quite an admirable sight

Frightened that the others may believe

The stars want to outshine the sun's light

Stars don't crave the limelight

But they do want to be a part of something bigger

Than the sheet of paper they lay on

Still in the darkness they will linger

They will hide behind the clouds

Secretly hoping they'll be seen through the crowds
