click click click click click

i can hear the second hand on my left hand watch

it clicks

with a rhythm

that makes

me feel

at peace

click

offline

you've been offline for one hour, it says

but it's not quite exact

i want to know

the minute

the second

i want to see

how long

it has been

exactly

because i already miss you

click click

i wear key chains

and pins

and bells

and coins

because i can hear

the rhythm

that makes

me feel

at peace

click

click

i can hear her heart beating

thump

thump

it sounds so peaceful

and calm

thump

thump

i'd bury myself

in her chest

to hear

the rhythm

of her warm heart

thump thump

click

sometimes i remember

your voice

the lilts

and tilts

and turns it takes

the tones of your song

the pitch of your speech

a rhythm

i can follow

click

just like

i follow

you

click

click

i get lost

in my mind

i lose myself

to the twists and turns

of not real reality

but then i heard

click

the rhythm of

click

my left hand watch

click

the rhythm of

thump

her warm heart

click

the rhythm of

click click

your lovely voice

i heard them all

and now i'm back
