Circle and Circle

Circle And Circle Around She Spun

The crowd and the stripes collide as one

Every twirl, every turn Appeared A New friend

Out of dust A new creature Turns ‘Round The bend

The white mask and red lips make her laugh ‘Till She Drops

But she’s quick To freeze as Acrobats spin like tops

Big gray feet shake her world and she’s turned upside down

for it’s only today That the show is in town

Circle and Circle around He Spun

Come one, Come all, Fun for everyone

said the flyer he gave That Day to his mother

so she showed him a show that showed like no other

he gasped as the bike nearly tipped off the wire

It was seen in his eyes that’s what fueled his desire

To grow up and hop on the quick fleeing train

Never to return to normality again

This poem is about:
Our world
