Church Worship

Everyone enters

giggles die down, chatter slips away

the lights dim to a

Peaceful Glow

I push away all other

Thoughts, Worries, Fears

Feel Sanctified

In Your Presence

Here I am

I give myself up for You

and surrender All

I belong to You, and You, I

Lift me up

In Your Presence

Strums of the guitar

melodic notes

dancing their way to my ears

the drum keeps the tempo

I feel the rhythm of my heart

vocals sing out

as we all cry out together

come, let us worship

In Your Presence

Forgive me

You were always Beside me.

Why do I just realize this

once a week?

Why, only one day a week

do I feel your

Glorious Presence?

Whispers into my heart

I hear Your Voice,

You say,

I love you, and

Thank you.

Thank You!

for I was made

with no other purpose

than for Your Glory!

to give

YOU GLORY!

I watch as we sing on

and pray on, and worship on

see You touch hearts

tears stream down cheecks

washing away our Transgressions

our Hurts, our Fears

It all leaves the room.

Lifted hands

I want to reach You

I want to be with You

You're the reason I am here

I call out Your Name

Thank you, thank you.

I am moved

by the Music

the Harmonic Voices

blending with the

notes of the Instruments

They go softer, softer

To silence.

Absorbing in

Breathing in Your Presence.
