church family

Isn’t it sad that I feel more at home in a church many people would judge me for walking in to

Than at my own “home” church?

I’m not supposed to disagree with the traditions,

Or the hymns,

Or the monthly communion

But I do

I like the upbeat, clap your hands, move your feet, praise the Lord, this is Jesus type of thing

I like being welcomed with open hearts into a church family

Because although it might be my “home”

The stuck up folks that judge my every move have never been my “family”
