How do we unwrap the gift of the Son on a day you last saw the Sun ?
They say days come and go.
25 December came and decided to go with you.
You secretly packed your bags , caught the train
And vowed never to look back again... gone ghost in that head coupled with your Lot
Vowed never to look back again our pillar of strength feared to become a pillar of salt..
Bitterness...writes this poem with me

A suicide note really?
You couldn't right your wrongs
And thought you could write your wrongs ??
My emotions overflew..How could I contain myself?
The man who used to tell me to hang in there was hanging on there.
You said I should follow your footsteps..get guided by your feet
Should I follow them and also let mine hang in the air above the seat ?
Mom still has the Christmas sweater she had embroidered "Best Dad"
But you thought you were going to be the best dad, dead ?
Am sorry for asking a lot of questions.
Infact I don't know why am even asking you
You've never been good at answering questions...Mom cried and asked " Why did you do this " and you kept staring on the ceiling
Lifeless, hopeless, helpless we stood there.. fatherless.
Neighbors started taking pictures
We were supposed to stand next to you and smile huh ?
It was a perfect Family Christmas picture right?
We were supposed to eat and merry like everything was okay right?
I might be wrong or right, maybe I'm wrong but you left , right?
You were tired of living on the face of the Earth..now you okay huh?
I'm not crying for you.. something in me just got agitated
And when they ask me of the teardrops on this piece of paper.
I'll tell them these tears..are
