Choosing Pathways

There is a world I'de like to see

One thousand things I'de like to be

But every day I live

I fear

That it's too late for me

There is a world for me to travel

And borders are just lines

But before I go

I must to put to rest

The world inside my mind

But, to put to rest

The world inside

Would be to burn

My only place to hide

To burn

The only ones I know

To burn

And to let go

And letting go

Might be what's right

But to me

The shades are gray

If I let go

I'll lose night

But I might keep the day
