Smiles, smiles, most of them deceive,
Behind those smiles, in their minds we receive,
A denial of acceptance, we still come and we still go,
Hoping for a yes, but receive nothing but a "No",
Though we can be foolish, naive and unwise.
We learn to love, after that hate will rise,
Not because of anger, but only because of failure,
A pure personality can be shattered, that's love's nature,
If we can recall those days of joy, would you attach the same strings again?
or would you cut the string down so you would never hurt again.
One can only be strong if it's going to be a must,
or would you rather stay on the ground letting people treat you like dust,
There's always a chance depends if it was given as a choice,
a choice that will allow one person to change or rejoice,
Maybe not now, maybe someday it will come,
maybe for the better, or it must be something to overcome.
Look in front of a mirror, ask yourself where will you start?
Think deep through your mind and have a change of hearts,
It's up to you if you want to keep standing in the same spot,
Like writing a poem, if you don't start there will be no dots.
Remind yourself that there is always something new,
some things that aren't fresh, but its something you never knew,
Keep walking, go straight, don't look back and chin up,
your journey is yours to write and no one can fill it up,
If you're hurt, and just shattered you can cry if that's what you feel,
but after that give it time, because it's something time can heal,
So are you ready to face the truth and accept reality?
the choice is yours to make, give yourself a chance to change,
Because if you keep standing in the same spot you'll never receive what you deserve,
Sulking over something for too long could throw away chances for you,
Keep moving don't look back, don't let anyone slow you down,
remove those people who pulls you back, and the ones who gives you nothing but frowns,
so if you think you're ready, think again if you can start,
start sooner, not later and have that change of heart.
