Childhood Memories

Its funny hearing people talk about the “good old days”

When they were young and carefree

And life was easy

They talk about their childhood

And how blissfull it was

And it makes me wonder

Why my childhood didn't feel like that

I seem to have missed my good old days

Because all i remember is feeling heavy chains

And a crushing weight on my tiny shoulders

I learned from a young age

To carry my burden silently

And with a smile.
