The Cherry Blossom Tree

The cherry blossom tree, likes to hide away its plumes,
but for two weeks everything changes.

As the spring dawns it flames out,
pink blossoms opening up.

Birds nest fly around it, and all animals meet,
under its beautiful flowers

Children twirl in the falling petals, which fly in a whirlwind around them

But, alas it ends too soon.
The tree becomes just a tree with leaves.
It tucks away its beauty, until the time when the world changes,
to spring again.
