Cheering is my whole life
it started with cheer camp when I was 5
being on the field with girls I look up too
Knowing that one day I would be in there shoes
When I was 12 I cheered in the fall
Showing spirit for SV football
from there bloomed a passion
working hard to become captain
Through blood, sweat, and tears
and conquering my fears.
From jungle, to mystery, and from there to birds
the themes always change but i’m still a cheer nerd.
From the first competition
to 9 under my belt
I can still remember the butterfly’s I felt
Looking out at the judges and into the crowd
I find my coach looking at us so proud.
I try my hardest because it’s our time
it’s our one chance to show how we shine.
To show them our talent and all that we worked for
keeping our spirits no matter the score.
