They say they hate it, but know that is not the truth;

this is the place they spent most of their youth.

Everyone says they cannot wait to go, 

however when it's time they want to say "no". 

They have to leave their friends and go to a new place, 

somewhere it is rare to see one familiar face.

When they are left at their new home,

they look back at the memories and do not feel so alone.

Even though it did not seem so cool,

everyone will miss their high school.
