Changes

Location

I came into this world

7 pounds and 6 ounces

21 and a half inches long

Light brown hair

And blue skin

Absolutely nothing is the same

I am 187 pounds of beautiful

My soul is at least half of that

The other half is my boobs

I am 5 feet and 4 ¾ inches tall

But I never stopped feeling small.

My hair is whatever

It changes as often as my mind

But my skin is pale

Except for the freckles and my cheeks

And for the dark brown scars that litter my legs

But my 187 pounds

My 5 feet and 4 ¾ inches

My damaged, colorful hair

My freckles

My scars

Are signs I’ve made it.

I’m alive.
