Change is overrated

Location

If I could change the world,
Id make it safe for every girl,
No more fear of what lurks in the alleys so dark,
No more breaking and tearing of the heart,

If I could change women, I'd make em smarter,
Make it harder to win her over, some give in too easy,
Expecting love from a player, end up a sore loser,
He's up'ed his score and he's moving on for more,

If I could change men, then I'd make em smarter,
Im not talking books, I mean common sense,
Its time someone sent a brick to their heads,
Care for others before yourself instead,

If I could change the dead, id make the graves burn red,
Spirits rise if they met an unjust demise,
To scare and stare into their wrong-doer's eyes,
Rape, murder and hate, eliminate? Yeah, that'd be great,

If I could change the Office Space, raise minimum wage?
Profit margins wider than the River Colorado but CEOs with bravado,
Claim its gonna hurt the business, raise prices, yeah? Bulls**t,
McD's Man boosted his paycheck but his Dollar menu wasn't wrecked,

If I could change marrying, lets look at the Ring,
It goes on with a vow, but not a guarantee,
First comes love, marriage, then divorcees,
50% in this country? Like the graduation rate of Georgia State,

Society lied to me, do they even know respect?
Hate against each other cuz of skin color or sex?
What a mess, we took the test, failed with our "best,"
Yeah..no. I know we can do better,

What happened, American trend setters,
Used to be go getters now acting like quitters,
Losing morality, decency is in jeopardy,
Im just dreamin of a better world, please don't crush this MC.
