Change

The colors of my life are changing,

Everything seems more crystal and clear now.

The rights are somehow becoming wrong.

Is it because I am wiser now?

You said you hit me because you love me,

I thought I can beat the demon inside and set you free -

I though I just had to stop making you cross,

I thought love comes with some loss.

Loss of identity

Loss of dignity

Loss of respectability

And loss of sympathy.

We parted two long years ago

At first slow, but then my life began to glow -

I glowed because I let our dark memories go.

You left me broken, but not splitted in pieces.

But as time passed and our false love bubble blast,

I learned to love again.

I learned that love tastes like cupcakes,

Soft and sweet with casual mistakes.

Love feels like a winter evening,

Cozy and comfortable with open conversation full of meaning.

Love looks like a sunflower,

Loyalty and trust that gives people willpower.

Love sounds like the flapping of butterfly wings,

It doesn’t restrict you, it sets you free.
