No matter the age the stories the same

Wanting a change that is bigger than our current game

Dreaming of a greater life for us and our loved ones

The obvious answer is that obtainable dream

Going back to school and getting that job

That one we have been waiting for to lift us up

Lift us out of whatever rough patch that has held us down

Praying that we make it by one more day

All it took was that simple step in the right direction

Getting that education was the hardest dissection

The best part was achieving that dream

That dream of a better life

That one job that changed it all
