Chainless

Heart of Gold, Chains of Diamonds. Bound my soul, did not confide it. A love I lost, her love I gained. Her chains kept me whole, kept me sane. But I made a mess, I damaged the locks. Her chains was loosed, I fell apart. My heart grew cold, the diamonds turned dark. I should of pulled my weight from the start. Like a mountains peak I feel alone. Once had diamond chains, now a shineless stone. There light has gone and left me here. Not for someone we else. But the reason its gone and i am here. Is because I chased it away myself
