Celestial Dream

Location

I reach out as far as my arm can bear

So I can have a piece all to myself

And each glistening spec of light

intensifies my yearning for the night

I feel the milky rays of the galaxy brush my cheek

While I listen to comets ride into the depths of black

And as I admire heaven's fervent stars

I reminisce of my trips to Mars

I imagine a show of glittering dust

From the sigh and breath of each planet's atmostphere

And I see a streak of hope beyond the sun

From life thats past, and life to come

Now I am old and aged like precious wine

But I still look up from time to time

Because although how vast the skies may seem

I will forever have them, etched in my dream.
