Casual Existence

A barrier formed on a scathing visage,

Walking upon faith’s watchful integrity,

I casted my memories long ago,

On a raft labeled  “Forever Forgotten”.

Arriving near the sea of pain,

Again nightmares haunting my very words.

But resiliency gains immortality,

As my soul found a land “Second Chances”.

Mistakes made, mirrored by madness.

I learned to uphold promises,

Stay within certain limits,

Life was my dream until

hearing awakening’s voice.

Commanding a noble path,

Choosing change over cowardice,

Bravery now remains in my heart,

Thoughts not reprimanding my mind.

I found my identity,

With much self-judgement.

Standing vigilant losing obscurity,

Knowing one day I will reach fulfillment.
