Candles and vision

Ecclesiastes 2:13

13 I realized that wisdom is preferable to folly,
just as light is preferable to darkness:

Lighting up the darkness … to discover what is there.

The same thing as daylight but only partially exposed.

Bargaining with a spotlights ... what should be seen

In every life’s situation ... even with both eyes closed.

Sitting around in solitude ... dreaming in the dark

Here and there a light hoping Christmas stays around.

Special time of the year ... mostly because of lights

Brightening the houses ... which normally can’t be found.

Is it such in life with many folks around me?

As only here and there ... one lights up the night.

A world lost in darkness ... with shadows everywhere

Where nothing true is seen ... if it was not for “candlelight”.
