Cancer- Amber Peeks

When you saw her, you saw a smile
But she only got to stay for a little while
She loved the Lord with her whole heart
Everyone hated to see her part
She only was allowed so many years
And she refused to outnumber her fears
Cancer ate her body inside and out
But you never even saw her pout
Hearts were hurt and tears were shed
No one wanted to see her dead
Her smile, her laugh, her smell, her glow
The hardest thing was to let her go
Now she sings with the Lord in Heaven
She wasn’t older than two times seven
Look at the rainbow in the sky
And remember, its "see you again" and not "bye"
