Can You See It

Can you see it? Can you?

Life is new, what you know is no longer there.

Can you see it? Let me paint you a picture.

Light in the surrounding, filling every crevice of these places,

no need for color, no distinction between these faces.

There is no white, black, yellow, or pink,

for this world is alot different than anything you would ever think.

"What is this place?" You ask. Well its pretty simple.

It can be the future, the present, or the past,

for this time is everlasting, its one that can last.

For the skies are golden and the roads are gold,

its somewhere exclusive but everyone's being told.

It's Heaven in all its glory and its a place of no distinction,

because racism and stereotypes, here, have no function.

There's Martin Luther King Jr. sitting on a citadel,

praying for the masses knowing that all will be well.

For in this place, we are one body and of one accord,

protected from death and the fury of the sword.

For no matter the before, we focus on the after,

because the future brings promise, while the past promises disaster.

So follow me and make the vision a reality,

to make this world united as long as we're here to stay.

Even though we differ by color and by the law of the land,

We have the same father by which we were created by His hand.
