Can you see?

Can you see my eyes?

Do they tell lies?

Do you search deep?

Or do you just peep?

Can you see under the layer?

The thick layer of amber?

Which hold captive,

The truth that is adaptive.

Under chocolate blankets.

Do you see the canvas?

Upon which I paint,

The deceitful lies without constraint.

Can you see my eyes?

Or just the disguise?
