A Cacophony of Click Clacks

A thought is clacked out
The clacks speed up, words flow out
The clacks slow down, letters slowly rise
The clacks stop completely, a dot seals the line
The mouse whirrs speedily, click click, click click
The finality of “enter” being pushed
Unheard digital fanfare plays, as the representation is sent out
Later, almost instantaneously,
Eyes stop
Eyes read
Brain processes
Different hands take to keyboard
Clack clack, clack clack
A retort has been formed
Click clack, whirr whirr
The cycle continues
But amidst the cacophony of clicks clacks and whirrs
The sound of crying
Is lost completely
