Butterfly

A butterfly so beautiful, with wings so unique.Fluttering quietly; with not much purpose, other than to be looked at in awe. This exhilarating being happen to land on my shoulder. At that moment, I could only question my very existence. The world I knew as brisk and full of chaos; stood still. We shared a look that whispered a thousand words. I felt my heart rate rapidly rising. I knew that it was time to let her go. In the blink of an eye, the world came back to life. The butterfly was long gone, but I was indefinitely a changed man.
