Buried by weakness ...

Ecclesiastes 11:8

So, if a man lives many years, let him rejoice in them all,
but let him remember that the days of darkness will be many

—all that is about to come is obscure.

Deep inside all of us ... darkness is waiting

in forms of emptiness ... ready to engage

In search for happiness to grasp within the craving

the “treasure” in our desires ... as one misbehaves

In thought we’ll rise above it all ... in search for the solution

The thing I found in man ... that darkness keeps on yearning

The Internet I’ve noticed ... provides all forms of pollution

And mislead the many ... who in loneliness are searching

To rule “life” and its priorities ... into selfish affliction

as energy invested in the world ... rules one’s own spirit

Direct desires quickly ... towards a hopeless addiction

as it brings plunder to the soul ... only death to inherit
