5 you yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Building

To depend upon the soul to carry the spirit’s wishes

is depending on the natural to operate beyond itself.

The natural, the fully human side ... is flesh self-glorified

and in such petrified ... drying out within itself.

However supernatural in Christ ... is goodness personified

resting on what is right ... reaching within Himself.

God will not use the natural ... to share His Holy Glory

as love unconditional ... flows serenely from Himself.
