Build it Better for a Kinder Kin

Destroy the world in which we live,

and build it better for a kinder kin.

For in the wars we face today,

fellow humans we constantly slay.

And babies cry for their mother’s arms,

which are too busy with things that harm.

The homeless stand line after line,

“Spare a quarter? Nickel or dime?”

And hurricanes strike from shore to shore;

No one is sure we can take much more.

We spray all these chemicals into the air,

and to Mother Earth, it just isn’t fair.

We build these buildings for people to live,

but with over-population, how can we live?

And how dare you throw that food away

while people are starving everyday?

Yet we can solve these problems we face,

if every evil we can erase.

So destroy the world in which we live,

and build it better for a kinder kin.
