Build a home to stay awhile

Gather sticks for my home

as we walk on down the road

shelter over head

is that we need for a bed

put the wood in a pile

let it sit for a while

find a women to lay down

and build a home

to stay for awhile

bake the bread

put the pot to warm

remember the teachings

from our home

close my eyes

feel this song

takes us back to where we belong

cut the wood

stoke the fire

and the wall will inspire

find a women to lay down

and build a home to stay for a while.
