She’s 16 and sad,

But in love all the same.

He walked into her life,

 And with him, violence came.

First it was smiles,

And a love confession.

But the jealousy and control,

Became a sick obsession.

Then came the yelling,

And hits and blows.

The Blacks and Blues,

That nobody knows.

When they’re all alone,

He’ll hit or grab,

Like when she’s a BAD girlfriend,

Or just plain drab.

Abuse as it remains,

Savior we wish she’d choose,

But because of it strength,

She continues to lose.
