Broken Reflection

Laughing back at me in the glass of a two sided mirror,

A sinister clown inside of me that won't disapear.

When feeling ugly seems as if, a brand new kind of hobby,

This monster shadow took over my soul and my whole body.

An overbearing cloud takes over this thing called light,

It could be the brightest day but feels like the darkest night.

Those who think they love me, are mistaken and much better off,

Lifes too short to live, when you are the over-preasured boss.

Like Robin Williams' fame mis-fortune,

The mirror turned into a warped distortion.

As I look into such a broken reflection,

I need help being pointed in the right direction.

God grant me the serenity for the things I cannot change,

I'm an angel looking for heaven, back to my home range.

Taking one day at a time, but my steps have become too heavy,

For once If only I could shine, but reality is much too deadly.
