A Broken Reassembled

Descend slowly
Float here or there
Dropping from the known
And leaving completely bare

Waving at the open space
The sights you gaze
Foreign territory
Through the heavy rays

Heat moves forward
Trying to take the spotlight
Giving into the sweet temptation
Rolling into a shining night

Who have I become
Through bonds and promises made
But growing uncertainty
Just trying to persuade

My mind a confident way
My heart eases to a different threshold
Confusion moves in waves
I don’t want to be controlled

Controlled by the winds moving past
The sun beating down the body of mine
Moving me in unwanted ways
Paths of curved lines

Where have I landed
In a field so unknown
Blown within a space of time
Can this be overthrown?

Beating in
They try to distract
My mind wavers but returns
So that I myself may be intact

The days roll through the hills
And all attempts to intervene
Focus lies on growth
Within all endured and seen

Years float through
Becoming self-assured
Growing in a complex way
Becoming my own mature

Drifted off the path of myself
Into unknown lands afar within a simple glance
Fighting my way through thorn brush
Just for a sight at a second chance

When standing in the mist of reassembling
Myself broken to a shred
Torn apart to becoming glued into one
Moving and understanding slowly drift myself ahead

The journey with not an end
Though my story continues ahead
Interruptions toned out of my path
Living my life only and not those of the roaming dead
