The glass case around my heart is gone.

She shattered it, with just one look.

She has me wrapped around her finger.

Her smile was all it took.

 

Im being held captive by this girl.

She told me I'm her best friend.

I know we'll never be together.

But these feelings just won't end.

 

I spend all day smiling with her

And crying by myself all night.

I hate seeing her have to go.

I love having her in my sight.

 

But she spends her nights in the arms of another.

And i'm left to worry all night long.

I keep trying to warn her.

But this guy treats her so wrong.

 

He doesnt want to hang out all the time.

He doesnt tell her where he's at.

He doesnt cherish her like I do.

Its just the little things like that.

 

He told her, that he's cheated on every lover.

And she's plagued with self-deception.

Still head over heels for this man.

Thinking she'll be the exception.

 

I can't convince her of this man's game.

I can only sit and watch forever.
