The Broken Cross

They remember

The cross that

Had been carried

Up to Golgotha,

And with their

Phylacteries,

They praised with

Their lips

And the stone

Of the whitewashed

Tombs was rolled,

Revealing a catacomb

And the skeletons

Were risen from

The dead, after

Their heads were cut off

And they pierced

Jesus with a spear,

Forcing wine down

His Nazarene throat

And the blood,

Which had been

Drunken from the

Servants of Molek

Was burned off

With shallow cups

Made of fire from

A distant land

And with their

Widened tassels,

They preached with

Their lips

And the dish,

Shining from the

Outside, revealed a

Feast of worms

As Jesus was

Suffocated in cloth,

Ravens gathered to

Feast on his white flesh

And they watched

How he had been devoured

But they didn't have the hands

Of Abraham to shoo them away

And the cross

Which stood tall and firm,

Was broken, cut into 12 pieces,

As it was sacrificed to Molek
