BRIDGING BRIGADOON

Daddy, you and I are bridging Brigadoon.

One year on earth together, now connected between space and time

between the bridge of Brigaddon.

Never forgot you.  Left my homework up, so you could see my

grades from heaven.

Then when mom flew me from America to Ayershire to see Granny

I dropped a note over the Bridge of Brigadoon

The waters swallowed it whole, much like cancer did too you --

Your leukemia blood flowing like the river under the Bridge of Brigadoon.

My calling is to be a nurse daddy.

Maybe, I can save souls like you.

Together, someday daddy, when I too cross the Bridge of Brigadoon.

Our souls will meet at the kirk together at the foot of Brigadoon.
