The Breakup - By J.Marie

Mon, 07/06/2015 - 10:47 -- J.Marie
I let you in, you built a wall.
I lifted you up, you let me fall.
You told me you loved me, then tore me down.
You lead me to water, then watched me drown.
Too afraid to accept love in return, you built a bridge just to watch it burn.
I loved you completely, accepting all of your flaws.
Then you broke me so neatly, without even a pause.
Turned away, gone separate ways, maybe you'll miss me one of these days.
