Breaking Boundries

I am frozen

On the verge of breaking glass

No boundaries just an ever going skyline

I am ready to run free into the light of success

but the cable of fate is grasping onto me tight

It whispers “The hour is not here yet”

Aspirations docking into reality

Living no more in the realm of confidentiality

But in the stadium of victory

My identity mirrors every wall I cross

In hopes of leaving a mark and making a difference

I am like a burning fire in a metal cage

The flames exist but can not escape

Full of potential and grace

There is no doubt in my mind that I won't win this race

The most important lesson in life I have learned

Is that nothing is given until it's earned

I am committed in making my dreams come true

Because there is nothing in this world that I can’t do

I am she who has potential

You hardly know who I am or what I mean,

but I am a believer

I am perseverance
