Borrow My Vision

Borrow my vision and you will see not color, not gender, but beautiful people surrounding you.

With my ears, you will hear the birds sing, the bees hum, and the children laugh.

With my mouth, you will fearlessly speak your mind and all of its contents.

With my arms, you will wrap them around your father, your mother, friend, and neighbor.

With my mind, you will travel through the mountains and valleys that life provides.

With my feet, you will feel the ground generously taking the weight of your body-you will float.

With my heart, you will mend its brokenness and use every ounce of it to fix tragedy.
